Anyone knows where i can a diagram or something similiar ?
i'm replacing the stock bridge as i'm too happy with it :( to something a wee bit more powerful (bareknuckle warpig)
so i thought why not wire the thing to have another option.

I just need a diagram or to know if it's wired in parallel or series when the tone knob is pulled ?

I agree. I think the D-Sonic is very powerful. The D-Sonic in my BFR handles everything from chunky metal riffs to glassy cleans when combined with the neck pickup.

D-sonic gets muddy when you push it hard, notes aren't clear and it's not fun to play.

To each his own! I am having a D-Sonic installed in my '06 JP to replace the stock pup coz my other JP (that I sold) had the D-Sonic and I really liked the bite it had.

Seymour duncan convertible.

if i try to raise the gain to get more crunch from it, it gets really muddy, i don't find the distortion high enough to really kick it and get the "gain feel" you get when you play high gain pickups.
it sounds like the stock pickup my brother has on his RG270, i never liked dimarzios, plain sounding for me.

I have never heard of anyone having this problem before. Maybe it's your amp.

I've pushed my JP6 with the D-sonic through various high gain amps and it sounds incredibly clear and defined.

Come on, dude.. comparing the D-Sonic to the stock pickups on an RG270? :(

I understand the whole to each his own thing and that everyone has their opinion, but that is an insane comparison.

Well, maybe it's losing it's definition because you're turning the gain UP? I find that with my Mesa/ other amps, a gain setting of around 10 o'clock-11 o'clock is actually a sweet spot. Too much gain will turn any pickup to mush and the D-Sonic still maintains the gainy feel.

Try it out inverted (the straight bar towards the bridge and the poles torwards the neck) before buying something else, according to DiMarzio the bar towards the bridge produces a different (brighter) sound. It's what they recommend for dropped tunings, but I've read in other reviews that it also works for standard tuning. It might get rid of your mud.

i got used to active pickups i guess :)
i already ordered the warpig, supposed to be active pickup in passive form.
i guess to its own the d-sonic is a good pickup, but i've heard much better. harmonics aren't that good with it either, they are ok.
