Help! BFR JP7 Piezo B string fuzzy :(

So I was playing around last night with the piezo a bit, and any note I play on the low B string is all fuzzy kindof like how a piezo sounds when the battery is dying. The problem is, the battery is brand new out of the box and none of the other strings are doing this. Every other string sounds pristine but any note on the low b sounds like the battery is about to give way. I'm not exactly sure why this is happening and any advice/help would be much appreciated.

P.S. I'm sure this isn't string buzz it definitely sounds like an electronic problem/maybe a problem with the saddle but I'm not sure what's up. The strings are kindof old maybe that's why? :/

EDIT: Actually after playing a little more the best word I can use to describe it is clipping. It's like the gain on the low B is cranked up too high (too much tension on the saddle? it's only a 54). Turning down the piezo volume doesn't help this as even on the lowest setting it does it (again, only on the low B string, everything else is fine)

Have you tried turning down the bass knob on the piezo eq? Maybe it's too high and you're overloading the output signal.

+1 to what he said. actually, any button could be at fault, try seeing if the piezzo is much louder than the buckers.

I never really thought of the piezo EQ I always forget it exists lol i'll definitely try that out. The volume difference from piezo to magnetic with both knobs at full is pretty much nil though.

I just tried playing with it a bit more before screwing with the EQ, and the low B string clipped on every note all the way from the 24th fret to open. The E string did not do this anywhere nor did any other strings so i began to think it wasn't the bass. However, I did a dive bomb on the trem and after bringing it back up slowly it's perfectly fine... I'm not sure if this is going to last but it's working now. The string was situated pretty nicely on the saddle beforehand I looked, could it be that it was off just enough to make the piezo crystal go crazy? If so idk if this is gonna screw with live playing
