Just got home and stopped by the North Dallas GC, and there on the wall was a BFR Luke, Bahama Blue Burst, must say it was just stunning, excellent quilt top, and the sparkles on the side and back just jumped out at you, played great and felt great, just a magnificant guitar.

if it was a BFR where F stood for F3ND3R I'm sure the sales people would know something about it.

BFR Bahama Blue Luke at the 14th Street Manhattan GC as well
Quilt topped, but not pillowy - kind of a /\ shaped patttern - almost like it's melting away from the neck and pups
also has the sparkly back
plays real nice - but the Luke just isn't my thing

Hey,

Just going to bump this up once so any North Texas fourmites can see, it is a beauty and as BP said only one of ten and the sales people lack of knowledge on the history you should be able to grind them down:D

I may have to go over there and give it a look tomorrow, but unfortunately it's not in the toy budget right now.

Oh Fing....you're killing me. That guitar is EXACTLY what I'd want if I could afford a BFR this year. Want to buy it and hold it for me until I can recoup the funds from the other 2 I bought already this year? ;)

Mike, Wish i could, as i said if it wasnt for the DD Luke I would buy it for myself, fortunatly for my finances, the GC card is in Mrs. Beagles name and she is the only authorized user of the card:eek:set up this way on purpose:)

I was very interested in a BFR Luke after seeing and holding the prototype in Dallas last year. It would have been a tough choice between Ruby Red or Bahama Blue but once I found about about the limited availability of these it was a no brainer.

The sparkle back is just a really cool addition to a great guitar. I can have a beautiful flame top and sparkles all at the same time.

2 of the 10 are taken and the remaining 8 probably won't last long... I'm actually wondering how long it will be before someone figures it out and buys one to flip on eBay for a tidy profit considering the uniqueness of this one.
