Help BFR Neck Adjustment

just need little help with the neck adjustment on by Jp6, i had a gig outdoors last night and here in my country humidity is horrible, so when we started to play i had dead notes on the first 3 frets on most if not all the strings.. i just want to know what direction should i move the wheel, clockwise, or counter clockwise.. and is this normal or will the wood after time settle????

If it was fine before the humidity set in, it will most likely return to its original form. As for now, you probably want to pull the middle of the neck backward slightly, so I think you should be turning the wheel SLIGHTLY counter clockwise and check how it helps out.

Being that guitars are entirely made of wood, they will always adjust to the surrounding temperature and humidity. This is the reason it is always a very good idea to get to the concert/gig venue early and open your case to let the guitar naturally adjust (if the conditions are different) and then make any adjustments yourself to set it up the way you want.

It would be hardest on your guitar if you kept it inside with air conditioning and then routinely played gigs outdoors... it'd most likely require a setup or tweak every time you moved around.

So basically, you'll always have to adjust your guitar if you have it in one place and then move it to another place.
