I read that all BFRs were photographed before they left the factory. If this were true, I wanted to see if mine was there.

I think they stopped doing it because of the time involved. The last post in the BFR pic thread was in 2010. If the keep the photos internal that's another thing

They stopped doing the photos in 2010. There were over 1100 guitars photographed by in the end, and well you can imagine the work load to photograph each one and upload the info, one post per guitar, with photo, serial number, and dealer info. After a while the new posts eventually slowed down and then stopped. I think the pictures vanished after a forum update and that was the end of that.

Here you go:

http://forums.ernieball.com/music-man-guitars/26748-official-ball-family-reserve-picture-thread.html

The pics aren't showing on my computer, but the serial numbers are.

Thanks, Tollie - I never knew about that thread! My True Gold Morse made for Steve is listed there on page 61 but, as you said, the pics aren't showing...

I even put the URL for them into The Wayback Machine website, but what they had captured was the EBMM "Page Not Found" so it was already gone by the time it was attempted to be archived...

Appreciate throne though!

I can understand the reasons, but for enthusiasts... this is sad news.
That thread was almost like a guitar reality show.
