Yummy!

Save one for me! I'll be ordering a JP7 in either the walnut or the red color soon!

Cheers!,

hope you have plenty left when the BFR ALbert comes around!!!!

Don't worry -

remember that there are no more premium top options but for the BFRs - so all of the wood that might have been used in that capacity previously should be available for BFR stuff.

Norrin does that mean standard upgrade colours like a tobacco bust on an ASS will just be somewhat normal and not crazy quilts like in the past? my honeyburst was just standard though, but looks almost premium upgrade.

I don't have the answer to that question. I just know that my plans this year of ordering an Axis with premium top have changed! ;) Won't be doing that anymore - and I'm kind of fussy about tops - so I don't want to gamble.

Well we don't know yet but I am sure EBMM will continue producing amazing instruments like they did in the past.

maybe it will depends on the wood procurement

well in that the second market will offer the choice I guess Knowing that you can still find some NOS EVH I'm sure you can get very good deal on Premium top :)

We are still using the exact same wood for the Axis. Same source too. This premium stuff just comes from a seperate source. You will still see Axis guitars with great tops.

Since you stated these tops are coming on the Axis does this flow over to the other trans finish models? Are the Y2D's back to the luck of the draw and or are these quilts on it also?

Can I call dibs on one of those quilts if I place an order within 24 hours? :p
