Is there any hype / Talk of a BFR Silo ? (No, not the BPKHKR ! :))

Any concepts revealed ? BFR AL'ish ?

Would be good if it retained more resemblance to a standard Silo, as the 20th is surely a very, very different axe, both visually & tonally ?

Bring 'em on ! :D

Reverse Burst !!!!????

How about a REVERSE Burst ??

(Might cause some probs concealing any edge joins in a figured top)

Having difficulty visualising it........ might try some photoshopping.

I think of the 20th as the original BFR. Well that and the y2d.

SiLO DDs (all DDs for that matter) should also be considered BFRs. For me, BFR is more a state of mind than a neck inlay. But then again I'm here on my own little planet doing as the voices in my head tell me to do.
I let them have their way with me and that's the way uh-huh uh-huh I like it.

'zactly. Myself, I'd love to see a bunch of crazy protos as BFRs ... like the Knot Rockers or other cool woods. Just different, almost one-of-a-kind stuff. Bring it on!

I wouldn't mind seeing a dual humbucker silhouette special with a maple time and extra birdseye on the fretboard. I'd still like to see the pickguard on it too.

There was the solid koa Silo with rosewood neck IIRC at the Dallas meet.

If ever that comes to market I'm there!

The Koa Silo is WonderDogs, great piece too, Henry is pretty proud of it as well.

NorM, I'd have to agree that the 20th's I'd consider BFR's to, since they only made so many. The Y2D's I think are more the next generation of the original Morse. Since they can still be ordered from SLO.

I think the whole concept of BFR's is that it's a way for BP and the crew to make anythin g that takes their fancy, either as a limited run while certain woods last, or as a more continuous production run.

All I know for certain is that when it's done, it will be ready, and not before.

we are diligently trying to get 20th SR5's, LE's the last of the dargies and then you will see some of the BFR's.

Dizz they may be secret ones like the secret thread or they could be things you have never considered.
