I'm going to a concert tonight:
International Guitar Night, featuring Vishwa Mohan Bhatt, Brian Gore, Andrew York, and Sylvain Luc. Part of the Guitar Society of Fine Art Concert Series.

Anyone familiar with any of these players? I've never heard any music from any of them. I believe they're all acoustic players.

Wow... the concert was amazing!

Sylvain Luc was not there tonight, but the other three were awesome.

Andrew York was my favorite though.. he had the most incredible technique.. (clasically trained) and he played impossible stuff effortlessly.. with his eyes closed! I am definitely buying some of his records. He plays with the Los Angeles Guitar Quartet, too.

I bought an instructional book by Brian Gore (fingerstyle), and I can't wait to give it a go.

If anyone can catch this concert in their hometown, it is a must-hear!
Again, it's called "Interational Guitar Night".

Vishwa Mohan Bhatt brought a guitar with 19 or 20 strings.. an arch-top! It was like a cross between a western guitar and a sitar. I kept thinking that he'd be a great endorser for strings, since he plays so many of them!
