Big Al 4 and Sterling 4 necks the same?

Been wanting a fretless big Al. Also been wanting a Sterling HH.

Have heard that the Big Al neck is like the sterling neck. Wondering if it is the same.

Have a fretted Big Al. If I ordered a sterling fretless, would the necks be compatible? Could I swap the sterling neck with the Big Al neck?

Contacted customer service and got my answer. Unfortunately not the one I wanted.

"The necks are very close but not designed to be swapped between."

That's what I would have guessed, based on having one of each, but I wasn't going to take the necks off to find out. They do feel very similar.
