Is it me, or does the Big Al 4 have a slightly less rounded headstock than a Sting Ray or Sterling? I haven't seen one in person so I cannot verify this myself. In pictures, it looks more aggressive, almost like the profile of an eagle's beak.

The Big Al logo has thicker lettering than the Stingray logo, which may give the optical illusion that the Big Al's headstock is smaller. On the 5-strings, they appear to be the same.

I could have sworn that during the design stages for the Big Al it was revealed to have the Sterling's neck (or very close to it) including the head stock. Some of the differences are that the high tuner (G string) is set slightly closer to the nut and the overall length of the headstock is shorter than those same placements on the Stingray/Stingray 5 basses.
