So is it okay to begin talking about these since the 25th's are out? Does anyone have a Big Al yet? How do they play? What's the latest?
Is anyone as stoked as I am to get their hands on one of these or is it just me?

I know Silverburst's has already shipped to DuBaldo...the rest hopefully will be follow soon. After last nights gig I really want a 4 string right now. This should be just what the doctor ordered.

Rob,

Were ya born in the South? Cuz you sure don’t live there now…. I’m in da South and I’m patently waiting on my Big AL. Less than 2 weeks is what I’m told!

Yeah man, I was born in Birmingham, AL. Lived there until I moved to San Diego for a j-o-b in '99, at age 29.

I've forgotten this so someone please refresh my memory, is the Big Al equipped with 9 or 18 volt electronics?

Ok, my seniors moment has passed and it's all coming back to me now. The electronics in it are 18 volts If I recall correctly.

Yep, when I went back to GC yesterday I saw the double black box on the back and was confused for a second until I remembered. I also dig the fact that the electronics are top loaded, so there is no cavity access on the back.
