its available for order now from your favorite dealer. They'll show up in stores in a couple months.

but if you want something to your exact specs your best place is to call a dealer and place an order. The dealer will be able to give your their price and all that good stuff

What is the skinny on the electronics? is it the same at the 25th Stingray 5?
Active/passive? howsa bout the neck profile. It looks a little closer to Sterling than Stingray. Or that could just be the hecka mod pickguard throwing my eye a curveball.

yeah, I want both, but I also need to get a car, fly to new york for a few weeks and a lot of other stuff. Just one bass this year.
What is the story on the Rosewood necks? I just found out about them and they are already almost gone.

Rosewood necks are done (window closed)- only way you are getting them is to find a dealer that ordered for stock

yeah I am aware of a few places to get a rosewood necker. But that Big Al is just way more my style. Not that I dont like other EBMM basses! But even there I deviate, I prefer the pickguard of the 5 string ray over the 4 string ray. Stringray?
Then comes this big al with its big jagged PG and multilpe single coils!
Its just so damn new wave!
Electric blue and one of the Ice PGs would be
uh, mod!

The Big Al neck is identical to the Sterling. You could buy a Sterling with a BFR Rosewood neck, then later on buy the Big AL and swap the necks  ;)

HERESY!

and wow I am good, I totally just eyeballed the neck from the photo and guessed the profile.

Man if I ever start making some real money, I'll own more MusicMan's than Tom Bowlus!

I was under the impression that Bowlus was the Noah of basses, except only one of EVERYTHING.

Now I am wavering, saw some pretty cute basses up on the ole evilbay.
