Anyone getting tired of these PDN NBD threads yet? Didn't think so.

Sick, I hate being forced to the sidelines on this PDN run... it kills me... what a bass man!

When I eventually get mine...hopefully in the next two weeks (sigh)...I'll post a pic with a Tort guard on it for sure. Unfortunately, I don't have a really good camera at this point but hopefully I can get it looking alright.

I've been a member here for the last 5 years, and I still have no idea what, "That top SUCKS," means? It always seems to be associated with quilt or flamed tops.

Trust me when I tell you that it came from the guitar side (which I'm still not quite sure really exists). Guitarists are never happy, I think we all know this. And some of the tops coming out of SLO were just INSANELY sweet, but some idiot who shall go unnamed (but who did not go un-banned) said, about one stunningly gorgeous top, "That top sucks."

Game on. So every great top after that was complimented by the phrase, "That top sucks." For a while, it was usually followed with, "Oh yeah, I wish my top sucked that badly" or "Like a black-hole" or whatever.

We even had shirts, courtesy of Big Poppa, at the party in the desert.

So it IS a compliment, but that's the history.
