Hello, I noticed that some of the models seem to consistently have birdseye necks, like the Luke, Morse, Axis, and the Silos seem to have normal straight grain maple. On the site it lists all the necks as "select" maple. Are far as what gets birdseye and what doesnt, is it luck of the draw, or do specific models usually have birdseye necks and others don't?

THANKS!

Jason

BP had mentioned in the past that it just comes down to simple availability. There use to be a lot of figured maple to go around in the past..not so much anymore. Now the maple with the most birdseye usually get allocated for the signature and BFR models and more recent 25th's....some having more than others.
