Hallo everybody. Today UPS delivered my second ball !!!:D
It's the JP6 Ltd 2006 Philrst put a thread about in the forum a couple of weeks ago (one of three guitars). Came in factory packaging, brand new.
I received it at 6 PM European time, changed strings (Phil, you should give the strings some more turns around the pegs, man...;) ), tune it and... BANG!!!
Best fretboard ever, so precise, so fast, so comfortable.
Piezo is terrific, even if I tried it on my Triaxis clean presets (and the PUPS still aren't set at the correct height), the chords are shimmering....
I'm on cloud nine. Thanks Phil (guitar was pristine new) and thanks EBMM for producing such fine piece pf arts.
Now I'm looking fwd to playing it again tomorrow evening, in the meantime I keep on smelling my fingers ;)

Kind regards
Marco

P.S: I'll surely post some pics in the weekend.

Hi Marco,

I am glad you are pleased. It got there super fast. The string turns on the tuners aren't my fault, honest!!! :) That's the way EBMM ships them from the factory (now you really know how new it is). Great doing business with you Marco. Did you get the EVH pedal as well?

Enjoy!!!

Glad you are happy Rex. Great doing business with you :)

I am delighted that my guitars have gone to such great people and EBMM enthusiasts and I hope you get many years of enjoyment out of them. All of them were quite special in their own way but the 20th Ann Silo was the best compromise for me. Together with my beloved Les Pauls, it really covers all the bases I need to cover.

I am really looking forward to the release of the new Petrucci with some of the 20th Ann features. I love the sound of that guitar on the DT Score CD and it has almost exactly the tone I have been looking for over the years. We will see....

Thanks Marco, Rex and Gary each of whom have the utmost integrity and were so very easy to deal with. Marco in particular was unbelievably patient but I do hope that the guitar is worth the efforts he made on my behalf. Best wishes, Philip

Hi Phil,
thanks to you for everything, mate. So I have to forward the peg issue to Big Poppa :) The EVH pedal was intact, still have to give it a try.
Would like to thank you, Philip, for your patience with my PayPal issue, maybe in the next few days we'll share a laugh with the forum about my odyssey in paying the JP6!!!
It was a pleasure dealing with you.

ciao
Marco

P.S: pics coming in the incoming weekend

Why? Because of the locking tuners you don't need to wrap the strings around the trees. You basically pull the string tight and lock it and with half a turn or so you're in tune. That's the way these babies are shipped and that's what I do when i change my strings on my JP

I'm not 100% certain, but it is always safe to blame forum user NorM for any anomalies. ;)
