Does the Bongo come in any other color than black? Seriously. I was at Guitar Center today and they had two Bongos (and a whole mess of StingRays) and guess what color they were. You got it, black! I've been looking on eBay because I've been gassing for a Bongo lately and all I see are black ones. I hate black! I'd like to find a nice color that isn't black. Do I need to special order one or what?

I still have my two.

Three, if you count the Flaming Biff Bongo (Jeremy's all-time favorite bass).

But black is slimming.

IMHO it really doesn't need to. It could be just like the model T ford was. You could get any color you wanted as long as it was black. They did call it blue but it was black.

The bongo is the best sounding bass in the World. No matter what options it has.

I would put an imho here but two would cancel out the first one so..

I keep seeing 3 colors of Bongo here in my area. Sapphire Black, Candy Red, and Carbon Blue Pearl.

After tomorrow, there should be a Blue Dawn here in the area.

You made the colour just about right. It's very appauling, yet interestingly attractive.
But they're rare, so we got to try and keep them.
Would I buy the MOG colour without the whole Dargie concept? I seriously doubt it. :D

i saw a beautiful bongo yesterday at guitar center... it was a deep red with a tort pickguard

I am a huge fan of Rolls Burgundy, but I haven't seen one in person yet. I think it looks good online, so I've been basing my opinion on those pics.

Jack is right, black is rather slimming. I'd jump for a Sapphire Black as opposed to the Gloss Black Black any day...

Bring yourself to CA for the party. You will not only see one but I will let you play it.

(emergency shipments of wonder wipes needed Beth.)
