I was admiring a nice pair of stilletto knee high black boots the other day,and yes ,they were occupied by a sweet young thing..I noticed that the bottom of the boots were a maroon/reddish colour.Believe it or not,I thought of what an absolute perfect contrast for a black guitar..pickguard.The match is pure class...any thoughts from EBMM on the pickguard colour choice for the silhouette line. it would be a solid colour as opposed to faux tortois,etc....as for the girl in the boots..I don*t think she played guitar...but who cares...

gosh yes - I want a maroon/reddish scratchplate for me sub 1 - but wait, where am I going to find maroon reddish pup covers - oh darn... guess I'll have to use black... this might be good.... then again....what if all the other guys are using black pup covers ... if only EBMM would make those maroon pup covers ......and also tuner knobs..... and pot knobs... and will this look good with my matching headstock?....
accessorizing can be a real drag, ya know? :p

Seriously - my guess is that neither BP nor EBMM staff are going to be fond of this idea, as BP has already iterated that the sheer number of different color/accessory combinations for EBMM guitars is staggering as is. Although I personally might like to see a dark maroon guard for EBMM guitars - it is probably more realistic to look to other sources for this item - like Pickguard Heaven or Wendy Davis, for example.

But hey, I don't speak for the company.....

Or how about a Silhouette in cabernet pearl with a black pickguard? The example they have on music-man.com (Luke, with black pickups) looks pretty nice!

Of course, this won't help you at all if you already have a black silhouette and are looking for a pickguard...
