Apologies if this has been posted before, but I really love the fact this chap chose a Sub 1 and Silhouette to demo the Blackstar HT-5 Amp:

Of course, I have no idea what the fella is saying, my French is atrocious (and they have told me so), but his playing is great and it showcases both EBMM guitars. Top Stuff.

No EBMM and Blackstar mention would be complete without our own Jamie Humphries. I know this track has been posted a fair few times, but it's always worth another listen; fantastic track:

I have no idea what he's saying either......it's almost like he's talking a completely different language! (stolen from Steve Martin) :D The facial expressions match the riffs though!

The HT-5 is a great bedroom amp for marshall tones. The clean was a little sterile for me. I can see setting up an A/B setup with that and a VOX AC4TV for chimey cleans or maybe a good solidstate Fender for super cleans.

theres a whole demo review of the new blackstar series 100 stuff on there site in which jamie humphries tests it all. and he uses his silo and his axis on it. worth checking it out . its meant to be an awesome amp. jamie switched from cornford to blackstar so if its that good it must be the dogs gonads. id be aware though colin from what ive read from people who have bought one . there phenominally loud and really not for home use even on the lowest wattage. but if ur gigging it that dont matter . make there ears bleed. lol

I recently had the chance to play the HT-5 mini-stack at my local GC. Talk about TONE! That little amp is an amazing piece of work.

The rock tones on the blackstar HT-5 are great. If it had a fender clean tone with reverb I'd be all over it.

I did notice the clean tone was a bit sterile, but the clean channel DID break up a little, giving a decent "tweed-like" tone when you pushed it really hard. Nothing like a Fender or Vox, but still a really good amp, especially considering the price tag.
