Blisters, and Callouses are proof of hard work.
I have noticed some strings are easier on the fingers than others and it could be the finger-ease spray I have applied to one bass and not the other.
I'll have to experiment farther.

I got a pretty nasty blister on my thumb from trying double thumbing. I'm pretty sure I was doing it wrong. Stopped any slap technique dead.
