Lew,
I just sent an email with the tracking info to you. The auto bounce back was my out of office reply since I'm off today, sorry I didn't get it in the mail last night.

Hey Bing... thanks buddy. ;)

I know I probably deserve it, kick away.

Jongitarz... thanks for the info, not exactly what I wanted to hear though.

I hope I'm still welcome here at the forum, I'm still a big EBMM champion. :o

fred

I think you'd have to do a whole lot more than sell off one of your EB's to be not welcomed around here. That's why this is my favorite forum. The people here are easy going and they don't talk a$$. :)

well it has entered the UK and is in Derby which is only a few hundred miles away :)

Chicks are cool.

Fred, sorry to hear about you getting rid of your Blue Dawn Axis. I still love mine and wouldn't part with it.

Lew, on the other hand congrats on the snagging of Fred's BD Axis. Awesome instrument that you won't regret getting. But, Fred will regret getting rid of.

P.S. I've located a couple more if you come to your senses.

Of course you are still welcome here irregardless....this isn't the BC Rich forum!! LOL, I know some of the dudes over there, some are cool, most are little kids crying and what not.....so stick around bro!

Geez....up for sale in the morning one day, in the UK by the evening of the next...Fred, you musta really been wanting to get ridda dat BD bad....you feelin' okay, dude? ;)

Ennyhoo....congrats, Lew - BD is an amazing colo(u)r, and that looks like a great piece. You're quite a lucky man...enjoy!

Fred...I too own a Custom 24 from '92. Not a bad guitar at all, and I got a good deal on it (esp. since it has a standard top that puts a majority of 10s to shame), but I must unfortunately concur with the others here - EB's are much better players/sounders and have sturdier hardware. Mine has been safely locked away in it's case for well over a year now, awaiting the day whence it shall emerge from it's cocoon as a bona-fide "closet-classic vintage" piece. I call it my "lawyer guitar" as a result, and twang happily away on my Sport and AL in the meantime, as both together cost me what that one guitar did, and have double the tone...

I have had my eye on a few AXIS' latley,Fred's one just happened to pop up at the right time and had everything i was looking for aswell as the cool finish,i havent actually seen Blue dawn in the flesh yet,so I hope I like it.

I would guess that the gutar will be here either monday or tuesday, probably with a big customs charge

If i really like the guitar i will probably have to get shot of the sil spec simply because im saving up for a good amp at the moment and i bought the AXIS out of my "saving" money for that.
But with the £ nearly twice as strong as the $ How could i refuse ;0)

I am no great photographer, but here is my JP in Blue Dawn. Along with my other guitars and what not. I tried to get a good up close pic of the color. Pics just don't do it justice. I searched many months for this guitar and it was well worth the search just for the color alone...hehehe
