Blue Dawn/Blueburst question for Dargin

Okay, so I got loud and clear that the Bongo in Dargin's avatar is Blue Dawn, and that even though the photo doesn't look like it, it's a sparkle finish.

I have a question about the finish on that bass, though.

BD from other photos appears to be blue fading to black at the edges. But Dargin's Bongo looks like blue fading to darker blue or purple.

Is this another illusion?

Will the 07 LE Bongos have black edges or will they look like that avatar photo (but with a pickguard)?

Just curious.

its just hard to capture in pics so its always gonna look kinda different in photos.

rest assured tho... its an awesome finish
