Alright, haven't seen this anywhere, so thought I'd ask as I'm debating getting a fretless Blue Dawn Bongo. Now I have to decided lined of unlined. Anybody have pictures or know what the two will look like? Like the lined Dargies had all the inlays just like the fretted and the unlined had the one martini inlay at the top. What are the inlays going to be like on the Blue Dawn LEs? Lined and Unlined. Thanks.

Here you go. Happy to reply with a pic, using the fine example you've set recently ....

Hey Mark. Thanks a bunch.

My "fine example" was at least close enough to get an idea. This is WAY off.

I can only say this. My LE bongo has the dot inlays. I am not sure about the fretless ones....but I believe all the LE's in the past had dot inlays. If I am wrong, someone let me know.

The 2007 one is supposed to have the really cool looking 2007 at the 12th fret. I'm wondering if the fretless models (lined and unlined) are going to have it too.

I believe you are correct about the 12th fret....I was talking about the others of the past....the "half moon" inlay are on the bongos with the exception of the LE's.

Will it be there on the fretless models too? From the Dargies, I'd assume yes for lined. It's the unlined I'm more unsure of.

Well, I guess no one here will answer my question, so I'll email customer service about it.

None of the educators I've ever come in contact with in my years of education were ever rude and condescending, though. It's not like Eric doesn't announce when he has photoshopped something. If you don't like his posts, ignore them.

Hey everyone! Here it is, 17 posts later and I've finally got the answer to Eric's question!

All 2007 Limited Edition Blue Dawn instruments will have the 2007 LE logo at the 12th fret, regardless of neck type.

I don't mean to make anyone feel bad, I'm sorry Jackie. Chuck, Mark, Eric, Jackie? Group hug?
