Pics of my new morse.

Feel and sounds great.

But thinking in changing to .09.

Finish is flawless. Pics dont do justice. Its deep blue, but seems clear at same time, depends of light angle.

Like a lot the 2 single coil.

One thing that I couldnt do is setup the correct intonation on Low E and A. Seems that how low or high you can intonate is influenced by the action.

i keep my pickups on my morse lower than most people (except steve........his are even lower than mine on his #1) & it REALLY helps the intonation . especially the single coils.

Tommy, do you use .10 or .9 in your guitars

So, will try to lower the pickup.

Lets see if works, cuz I'm used to setup my Ibanez Jem and the thing is different here with MM.

So p'up hight affects intonation? Interesting. Explain please.

Magnets pulling on the strings...
I've never experienced that with humbuckers. P90, yeah, but never HBs or regular single coils.

if the magnets in yer pickups are too close to the string......it will cause it to vibrate unevenly......& cause what i call quivering in the note being played. the closer the pickup is , the thicker the string , & the higher up you fret....the more apparent it is.

humbuckers are alot more forgiving than single coils too......
& p90's very guilty also........

try lowering all your pickups way down.....then raise just your neck pickup a little at a time.....while picking a b note on the 6th string at the 17th fret. you can can raise it to a certain point w/ clairity ...then the note starts to quiver more & more as you raise it more & more.

That's so cool! I noticed notes "quivering" before and didn't know what was going on. On my epi lp I moved the p'up's up pretty close to the strings. Guess I'll have to lower them a bit. Learned something new agian. This forum rocks.
