Somehow I doubt the cable is making the difference! That Ray and his talent are enough.

My 30th doesn't sound like that when I play it. It's either the cable or his fingers, and I don't think it's the cable. Love that bass though.

I can't get over how he plays a phrase, then looks at the bass in amazement - it is a very highly polished 30th though, looks and sounds superb.

I have to say this guy recorded two of my all time favouriste bass parts - Signed Sealed Delivered I'm Yours by Stevie Wonder and Inner City Blues by Marvin Gaye. Babbitt is an all time great IMHO. Great to see him play a Ray.
