bodies and necks the same?

are the bodies the same on the new silo specials and older silo specials? what about the necks, are they the same shape as well, and if not when did the changes occur?

I only ask becuase I played and old silo yesterday, and outside of the obvious heel change, the neck felt really wide for some reason - maybe im off on this though ?

Was it an old Silo or an old Silo Special?

I seem to recall that for the first couple of years EBMM did offer a wider neck option on the original Silos - I'm pretty sure my local dealer had an SSH Silo with that Schaller trem and the wider neck option back circa 1989 or so.

Of course, by the time the Silo Special came out there was only one neck size.
