I was at Guitar Center in Lake Forrest ,Ca last week. They have a Carbon Blue HS Bongo 5 White Ice pickguard. It is on manager's special for an extremely low price. But here is the catch. It has some serious neck bow. It looks like someone tuned it up E-C for awhile. It was tuned back down to B-G when I played it. But the action was high due to the neck bow. It looks like it might take some neck massaging to get it back into shape. But with a price that low some one needs to rescue it. If I wasn't in need of a new amp, I would snagged it and added a music room to the dog house.:D

And why should you be any different from the rest of us
when it comes to the dog house.?? {;-)

I'm pushing 20 years of marriage here, and one thing I have learned is to spread out the gear purchases. I just bought a new acoustic guitar in Aug. and a SUB5 in Nov.:D I really need to get a bigger amp to handle the SUB5. So I must wait a while.....:(

I think we should let someone from EBMM answer that one.

If it's new, it's still under warranty. That's a no-brainer. But IF it was tuned to E-C, and how do we know this? Then it might not be new. They certainly don't leave the factory that way.

I have questions about this one.

The reason I said that, was when I was down there several months ago I found several 5 strings ( other brands) tuned this way with their necks a bowing. I detuned them and told a sales person they have a fool on the loose. I hate to see instruments abused.

I hope that clears it up for you.
