The color is very interesting. We'll see how it looks under the stage lights tonight. We have about 20 LED cans that we use for stage lighting,so it should turn out great. I'll post a pic or two tomorrow.

Since I own a Sterling 5 single H and a Bongo 5 HH, I can truly say that you will still love the Sterling 5 single H no matter how much you love your Bongo 5 HH. They're both different and they both rock! I would put my Sterling 5 single H up against any bass on the planet...anytime, anywhere!
It's nice to switch them up. Play one for awhile and you'll get the desire to play the other one. I really have a tough time deciding which bass to play on any given night.

Music Man finishes are like stealth bombers. In normal circumstances, they look, well, normal. Under stage lighting, however, they absolutely come to life, especially sparkly finishes like Blue Dawn and Sapphire Black!

Well,I gotta tell ya, the Bongo performed wonderfully! Different animal from the Sterling 5 H,but still had the Music Man vibe. Unfortunately,I have to send the bass back to the original owner. I had done a trade with him,and I always allow a few days to decide if the bass traded will work for them. he loved the bass i traded him,but said it had a bad buzz. I informed him that he has a grounding issue somewhere,but he insisted on getting the Bongo back. So,no Bongo for me,for now.
