Hey Y'All! Looking into a Bongo 5 so I can be part of the club
A few questions:
Which pickup configuration would you recommend? I kind of like the idea of a Humbucker + Single Coil but want your recommendations. I play bass for our Church: Full volume praise and worship including everything from lots of black gospel funk style (Kirk Franklin, Israel Houghton, etc) to straight praise music like Paul Baloche and Michael W. Smith. All fingerstyle with a smattering of slap and pop. Currently my main bass is a Ken Smith BT5G with ultra-low action. For more worshippy stuff I play my SR5 lined fretless. Wanna get the right config so I don't look all baka Ni (nod to Jub).
No HSC currently available, right? What do you use?
Looks like there are two battery compartments - 18 volt I would presume?
Thinking the Candy Red and then customize from there.
