Question Bongo 5 using 45-65-85-105-130 gauge strings?

Hi,

I think the original bongo 5 comes with Regular Slinky which is
.045 .065 .080 .100 .130

I want to try some other strings set but it has thicker A and E strings
.045 .065 .085 .105 .130

Can they sit on the nut tightly? Do I have to care about any setup related issues?

it'll fit in nicely. the only thing is you might want adjust the truss rod after increasing the gauges as it might buzz due to the increase in size.

I use 50 - 70 - 85 - 110 - 130 on mine with no issues...
