I did, there is a shop in town that had one, and also had a Bongo 5HH for me to try it with. I couldn't tell much difference between that and the 2x12 CMD102P with the exception of the fact that the Jeff Berlin model does not have a high horn in it and therefore if you put the treble on max on the JB sig. model the highs are not as pronounced as on the CMD102P. Other than that, same thing when you play the bongo on "normal" settings.

It's a question of preference some people like the piezo horns in their cabs other don't. I like it to be there but I have to admit I have hardly had the need to really pump the highs so much to be able to make any use of it.

Dude,
buy a markbass 15" or 12" extention cab with an attenuator to roll off the Horn if you want. all the extention cabs have them(The 121p and 210p Combos don't) Use your current LM2 to run it and save some money. I have the CMD121p that I love. I bought a markbass 810 cab and I use the head in the combo to power it On bigger gigs
and it's plenty loud.
