Bongo 6 body

Hello, I ordered a Bongo 6 HS in Sterling silver and a black pickguard, I order it at Basscentral, they told me that there was a delay in the construction on the Bongo 6 body, so I hope my bass will be ready at the end of the month, but, those anyone know what can delay the production of this body?

ordering it through a US dealer and living overseas could definitely delay the production of your bass. hahahah... sorry I couldn't resist

just to be clear .. Roberto's sister, who lives in Missouri, is the one that ordered it for him - -

And the real reason for the delay is our shipment of silver bullion is late.

For The Record,

Roberto's sister, Laura, who lives in Missouri, ordered / bought the bass for him.
He's literally travelling to Miami, then driving up to Orlando to pick up the bass from our store in December-January after the bass arrives!!!

Roberto, it occured to me that after all of the spazz attacks, nobody had answered your question. It isn't so much the finish as it is the Bongo 6 itself. They have been running behind - the good news though, is that your body is ready - we are now waiting on the neck, which is being buffed. Should be about a week.

just to be clear...

My sister ordered it form me, yes! and I will fly to Orlando to pick it up (I'm spending new years eve at Disney with my son), but if someone (specially people of ernieball/musicman) is interested, I did it that way cause the mexican dealer sucks, I spend 2 months waiting for the price of the bongo 6, for me it looks that they where not interested in selling that bass, so I speak with some seller and told me that they usually are not interested in special orders, that was the reason it took so long, so I get desperate and find a way to do it, the way was BASSCENTRAL, great store!!! and so far they gave me all the support to buy this instrument, specially ED, who is the seller that is taking care of my order, I'm sure this will not be my last Bongo (since I played one I knew that I will be a Bongo player forever!!!) and I'm sure I will be buying it to BASSCENTRAL.
