Hey - new here...
I want to do a little experimenting and tune my Bongo 6 E-E (standard guitar tuning).
I suppose it's just a matter of shifting everything over (removing the B of course - sacrilege!) then tuning down the former high-C a half-step to B, and adding a high-E. Anyone have any suggestions for gauges for the C and high-E (I don't want that high-E too tight)? The C may not have to be changed at all depending on how it feels tuned down a half-step.
Currently using 30, 40, 60, 80, 100, 125. Maybe it's a no-brainer - 20. Just wondering if anyone else has experimented with this and what gauges they used.
