A couple weeks ago I purchased this Stealth Bongo 6 from Sweetwater, where I work. I have had many Music Man basses, including one of the earliest Bongo 5's, and of course they have all been great. That being said, after spending some time with this new Bongo, wow is it incredible! It does everything I need it to do and more. This is my first six string and the transition was very easy for me. I love the ebony fingerboard and the tone is very even from the Low B to the High C. I know it may seem like sacrilege to change the pickguard on a Stealth but my main gig is a country/rock band and the shell guard looks great to me. Thanks to Music Man for making one the best basses I've ever played.

Very cool Bongo.

You are forgiven for changing the pickguard (er, fingerguard)...nothing wrong with putting your own style on your bass.

Enjoy!!!

love it! My Dad and I both bought a Bongo each when he was alive. Used to joke about it being shaped like a toilet seat but definitely one of the best all around basses ever made! Love that one! HNBD man!
