The retreat went well . I had just enough time to dial in a decent tone but I know I can do better. Playability was superb. Love those Bongo necks.

I have Sunday morning and Sunday night left to play this weekend. I'll have her nailed down by then. What a great Bongo Bass. Wished I had bought one when they first were introduced.

If you are thinking about getting one don't think twice.........:)

I've been saying exactly that for almost four years now. I still enjoy seeing the New Bongo Experience.

You're one of us now, man!

I've been here for a day and I already want one. I don't know what this is, but it ain't funny.
Welcome Seer-o. I hope you'll enjoy your stay and be able to benefit from all the useful imformation available here. There are some great photos to help to stir and enhance your GAS pains.:D

I play straight Bass. No pop or slap. This Bongo can do so much more and for many different players.

It gives me the growl of a Jazz and the low end thump of a P Bass. A nice round punchy tone that so many players desire. If you have a tone in your head the Bongo can duplicate it.

Nuff said... now go out and play one and see and hear for youself.

This morning at Worship our drummer was loving the tone. He kept looking over at me and smiling. I told him afterwards, I have one word to say.......BONGO!!!!!

Big Poppa you without a doubt, knocked it out of the park.........:)

Thanks for the warm welcome Ole Man. I've absorbed so much visual and textual EBMM content my head's about to pop - be it from GAS or the slightly warped (no pun intented) atmosphere of this here forum. The picture gallery thread alone is a veritable fountain of GAS.

But hey, I just got my first EBMM bass (check out the pics thread) so let me just enjoy it for a while before starting to desperately want another one... :)
