Question Bongo+Hardcase Weight

Does anyone know the exact weight of a Bongo together with its hard case?

I'm gonna go on a flight with mine on a couple of weeks so I have to know the weight so that I'll know how much more stuff I can bring with me.

I have my Bongo with me but I don't have a scale and there's no one I know nearby with a scale D:

How many strings?

According to the MM site:

4 string - 8lbs 4oz
5 string - 9lbs 4oz
6 string - 11lbs

Plus the case which I didn't find.

Well I know the weight of the Bongo (5 strings) from the website but I need the weight of the case as well.

My bongo 5 HH in the case weighs right under 20 lbs. I have a guitar strap with locks on it and an extra set of strings in the case. Hope this helps!

When i flew back to the UK with my newly acquired Stingray it was classed as an extra bag an charged a flat rate rate of $30.

I always allow 25 lbs or 12K for shipping with the case.
