Does anyone know why the logo on the Bongo headstock does not feature the ERNIE BALL company logo?

Believe it or not it only just occurred to me :)

However you look at the back of the headstock it says... MUSIC MAN A DIVISION OF ERNIE BALL and the Bongo is the only EBMM with these features, why???

p.s.: have you noticed how neither my Bongo nor the old girl --> (2000 Stingray5) have any dings on the headstock? :D

I hate you...:p Just kidding... but luckily enough, the hack in MY bongo is a very small ding and the paint is still there, it's just a small line right on the sharp edge of the contour in front of the lower side tuning peg.

Actually, come to think of it, I might guess that the reason it doesn't have the Ernie Ball logo might be due to the fact that it was originally designed from an outside company, (BMW Designs Works) and not EB, do you think that might be the reason?

Hey, Fran!

You're slipping...I can't believe you've never noticed this before!

I think the anticipation of waiting for your Big Al 5 could also be a factor in your current lack of perception.

As a new guy here - I always wondered why the websites did not link up - or at least did not integrate. I guess that is why. Interesting on the long term plans.

Stop bragging or you might jinx yourself. I have put enough dings on my bongo's headstock for all of us
