I walked in the den last night and my teenaged son said "hey dad, the guy in this video is playing a Bongo." (good eye kid) Show nuff he was. It was a country group called Trick Pony.

Wouldn't be me but that bass is Kermit's long lost brother (with his other triplet running around somewhere else)

I've seen that one too, and I like what I hear from those guys. If he recorded that song with a Bongo, all I can say is heewack! That is a hella deep tone...

Ira from Trick Pony is a real solid player, and has given the Bongo a good bit of air time.

However, I recently read at the Pit that Chevelles bassist is no longer with the band. Dont know what happened though.
