Bongo in Desert Gold or Lava Pearl - Which one is more 'Orange'?

I'm really gassing for an 'orange' bongo and all the pictures I've seen the lighting is different so I have a hard time telling which one is more orange.

In your opinion, which of the 2 colors is closest to orange?

Desert Gold is more "Orange"-looking. Lava Pearl is "Orange" with more red in it.

Desert Gold is more in the yellow family. Lava Pearl is more orange.

They are both orange. The Lava Pearl is redder, darker and more of a burnt orange. The Desert Gold is yellower, lighter and more tangerine.

...hmmm...... no one has said any other colour than Orange when they see my DesertGold Bongo and I usually call it "electric pumpkin"

so my vote is for DG being of the orange variety and LP being of the red variety

My beloved pair of Bongos: Fretted Lava Pearl 5-string HHP and fretless Desert Gold 5-string HHP.

I love both colors, but the only thing that puts Desert Gold slightly higher in my ranking is the fact that it can turn more or less orangish depending on the viewing angle, something that doesn't happen with Lava Pearl.
