This will probably be the last question before I get a Bongo. Has anyone tried to see if a 5'er will fit in a Gator case? I have one already and it would be nice if it would fit in it.

I've read all th threads about Bongo cases and when mine arrived on my side of the pond it was in a robust gig bag. I like to move my basses in a hard case when going to a gig so just out of interest I wondered if it would fit the case my SR5 came in. Bingo Bongo. I have no idea who makes this case but it did originate in the USA. As you can see the Bongo 5 fits a treat.

Is this an official EB case or another make?

Wow, that sure looks a lot like my Gator case. I guess I'll find out this Saturday at the GTG whether or not it will work when I try one of Jack's Bongos in it. Of course, that headstock is a little long and I do own saws...... :D

Does that case have MusicMan stamped into it on the top?

What I'm curious to is how the fiver's headstock is so much bigger than the four... Or any other Music Man bass for that matter. Let's all take a moment to remember the Sterling's headstock. Also, the four's headstock has always looked a tad smaller than a Ray's in my oppinion *Checking now

Well i'm not too great with imperial, but the Ray's 8-3/4" long and the Bongo4 is 8-1/8"

Time for you american's to shine.
