The Bongo's sounding great there, Anthony, nice work. I think the vocals could do with less reverb though - that's the most obvious thing that stood out on first listen for me.

Thanks Mark - and I agree, but my cousin can't seem to get enough of the stuff on his vocal.

The first cut print of these songs were awful - tone and mix were a mess. My guitarist and I spent 4+ hours with the "engineer" to clean-up the tone and level things out. We'll pay much closer attention to the overall process next time but we're pleased to have something that reasonably represents the Band.

When you are listening to a mix, close your eyes and it will be easier to get correct levels.

Very nice stuff.

I think your cousin has a very good voice but some material may be in the wrong range/key for him. I think his best vocal was in 'Signed, Sealed, Delivered'. He was very strong and it sounded 'right' for his voice. May think about trying out various keys / ranges on some material. The instruments sound right. The Bongo sounds clear and tight. Very good job :)

I will definitely give that a try!

Good call - there are definitely certain songs we do that are right in his "wheel house" and Signed, Sealed, Delivered is one of them.

Thanks for the feedback guys. We're planning on recording a few more songs later in the year.

The Bongo sounds good on the recordings. I think Pride and Joy could be a tad more uptempo though (just my feeling when I heard it).

I Saw Her Standing There and Margaritaville were very good.
