Reading this, I'm leaning even more towards an H.
I hate EQ-ing...Just using hand positioning is much more convenient.
I have both the bass preamp and my amp EQ set flat 95% of the time, so this is good news.
You make a good point. If you'll being twiddling knobs constantly while you play, the 4band eq may not be for you
However, the HHp truly has a massive amount of tonal (and RH touch sensitivity) variations.
If you find a setting you like, it can be "point and shoot" too though
