Hi,
Wondered if you could help. Pretty much the only thing holding me back from buying a Bongo 6 is not knowing the thickness of the neck. Or atleast how it compares to the 5 string which I have played. Ernie Ball are being a bit funny about telling me the thickness of its neck, I was wondering if any of you guys knew it, or have a bongo and could measure it for me? These figures would make me very happy :)
Thanks for your help.

Well since I have both I must say that the 6 feels (to me) about the same minus the wider neck. Really, if you like the neck on the Bongo 5 then you are going to like the neck on the Bongo 6.

I used to have a bongo 5 and the 6 feels like the same thickness only wider to accommodate the extra string. I loved the feel of the Bongo 5, and after a year of playing the 6 daily, I love the feel of the 6 as much as the 5.
