bongo production date

Sorry If this has been asked before but could derek or jon or someone please tell me when the date of the production started on the bongo and bongo 5.

Don't know about production dates, but the first ones became available to the general public in late October/early November of last year.

We first showed the Bongo at the 2003 winter Namm Show. We took orders and began production sometime May/June. They hit the stores in the Fall.
