British Steel sounds different form US steel thats for sure and I know we all have a different sweat make up (which kills strings at different rates) but I have found Roto's noticeable loss their top end for me before I can finish a 45 min set and that having the Guitar tech put a fresh set on just before show time !!

I like the sound of Roto's but I'm not interested in carting more than 1 bass to a gig and having to restring them every show, They are not That Good.

EB's are the best sounding, long lasting, most consistent string for my money.

Hey if you buy a set please let us know how they good for you tho, I'm interested in your opinion on the Ball End Method.http://www.ernieball.com/forums/images/smilies/confused.gif
