I had a gig last friday night where i let the bongo out of the bag to see what it could do . It was one of those pubs where the locals come out of the woodwork and keep yelling MORE ! The guys in the band were unsuspecting of what i was about to unleash as we kicked off the first set , so it quickly became apparent that this gig was gonna be serious heavy **** ! Seeing id only had this bass for 4 weeks and not being able to use it as i broke my collarbone 6 weeks ago i relished the opportunity to give it some stick as i can now shoulder it . What a stage shaker it was , my ampeg though , was peaking so i really had to drop the gain and flatten everything , but after that it sang a song of reality that gave me a lift into realms of enjoyable territory i thought was only available via my stingray . So the guys in the band said i was too loud PUSSIES ! ! ! As it turned out ,by the end of the night the floor and bar were all groovin and the patronidge were legless . twas a good night !

Yeah, you know, I have a little thing tomorrow night and I've been playing the Reflex a lot. I think it's Bongo Time.

One would hope, Lord Bongo! Can't leave those babies home whimpering on that new scream parlour rack as you take the Reflex down for a night out........
