Bongo Sighting

Saw the new Chevelle video for "The Clincher" last night, and their bass player is playing a bongo. Looks like carbon blue, but I could be wrong. No lingering shots to reveal the pup config, though.

heck yes.....i remember a few days ago big poppa was talking about the guy from chevelle not wanting to play the bongo live because of its name, and big poppa laid down the law on him.....and said he now plays bongos exclusively.....there are some videos of chevelle at mtv where he is playing a desert gold and carbon blue bongos(i think)....anyway, i guess im gonna have to break down and get me a bongo!

i think they rocketh out. im not sure if he used the bongo on the album. but hey theyre still cool.

Im not usually into the newer rock stuff but I like the crap out of chevelle. That tone the bassist has in "the clincher" is just brutal. I love it!!
