Just ordered my new bongo and now need a soft case. I've seen a good Ritter case which is 124 cm in length and the bongo is 121 cm. Would it fit? If not any other soft cases that I could buy in europe?

I've just bought a Protec case for my 5 string Bongo. It's a bit of a squeeze, but it goes in OK. Thomann have a good price for them.

I have one made by Guitar Research that my bongo 5 fits in. My generic gigbag is about an inch short.

Musicman gig bags? where can I get one :)
I'm already getting a hard case with my Bongo but the music school that I've got a place in doesn't let students carry hard cases around the school and obviously i'm looking for a case I can get in europe (living in france) and that has pretty good protection.

can't wait for my bongo 5 HS LTD 2007 Blue dawn to arrive from the US :)

I have the Mono for one bass. It offers more protection than any other soft gig bag I have come across.

Having said that, the best protection is provided by the original hardcase. ;)

Mono is the best gig bag I've come across. I have my hardcases all packed away now. I dropped my double bag once with my Bongo and SR5 in there and they didn't even go out of tune.

I know a guy who had to check is custom bass worth around $4k while flying from Oz to USA in a Mono bag and came out the other end exactly as it left.

Thanks again :)
I guess i'm going with the mono because although I have an amazing hardcase my music school doesn't let us have hardcases plus they aren't very practical to carry round everywhere.

I have an iGig and it's a very good gig bag but it's heavy without anything in it. Then add a bass and stuff all those pockets and it gets really heavy.

I've heard nothing but good about the Mono cases.
