Bongo “the” famous headstock dink!

Just getting ready for a gig tonight, checking things over and noticed I’ve still got a perfectly painted headstock. No Dink!
Am I alone or just need to try harder ? :p:rolleyes:

I bought mine on clearance from GC,
pre-dinked but a great discount. Then
I found a cheap nail polish that was a
90% match and de-dinked it.

Going through the list, HH has a couple of minor blemishes from a previous owner, SunBlue has just been refinished and played one gig so far so mint. Bongo is immaculate, (not even any previous owner fret ware, it’s never been played) and that just leaves Buttercream. Only one I’ve had from new and it’s well loved

Wow, a post like this seems to be tempting fate. My headstock dings typically come from a ceiling fan.

one reason to stand at the left of the drummer (if you are a righty). fewer cymbal interactions

On the stages I play that just means the wall is going to mess your headstock up, oh how I miss all my Bongos (well not all of them, but most of them...)
