Wife and kid are out of town. In have my Ampeg Micro VR head hooked up to my Markbass 102 in the front room. Jamming along with my 3 favorite music DVD's. Pink Floyd Pulse, Candlebox Alive in Seattle and Porcupine Tree Arriving Somewhere. Single H Bongo with slight bass boost, a lot of mids and highs flat kills. That is all. just thought someone should know. JOSH

I'm missing mine. Back with a Bongo soon. They're an assault on the senses.

Agreed. The Bongo is about as good as it's gotten for me.

Just picked up a pre-loved HH that's a little beat, but sounds and plays amazing. Have been Bongo-less for a couple years, and forgot what a beast it can be!

We're starting to cut tracks for a new CD. Engineer gives me that "huh?" look last night when he see the Bongo come outta the case. I go straight into the board. Insert sound of jaw hitting the floor. At the end of the night, he says "I've never heard a bass sit so well in the mix straight away".

Duh.

Porcupine Tree Arriving Somewhere was recorded with a Stealth Bongo 4HH!! Anyhow, that single H roasted Bongo you got had me going for while, then it was gone! Glad you got it. Sell it to me someday.

Very cool. Curious, which Bongo were you playing?
