I have one but it does more than I'll ever use. In my opinion, it takes a while to dial in a sound.

I also have an Electro Harmonix Deluxe Memory Man that works well.

I found an old Boss DM-2 that I'd forgotten I had the other day. Haven't used it for years but I gather they're quite sought after now?

I'll have to plug it in and see what the fuss is about.:D

I have a DD-20 and I love it. It can pretty much do the same delays as the ones I use on my G-Major, and its got the cool functions like reverse delay, twist, and warp delays. One of the main things I love about it is that it has the SOS (sound on sound) recording which is an awesome practice tool, because you can play a riff and write a solo over it and stuff like that. I think they're well worth the money, but I would say try one before you buy on as it may not be for you. I didn't try mine before I bought it and as it turned out I love it.

The DD20 is prolly the best one out there current...I'd tend to look at it that way due to the extent of the types of delays you can use it for, as well as a handy dandy line level selector so you can use it in the effects loop of your amp.

I can tell you the DD-20 is great. It has mod delay which is what the Edge from U2 mainly uses. None of the rack delays do this but the SDD2000, SDD3000 and the Korg unit (forget what the name is) The TC D-Two is the only other rack unit that does this delay mode and its not that great at all.

Im in a U2 tributeband and when we travel I bring the DD-20 now . If it can handle U2 stuff it can handle anything, plus you get 4 presets plus manual so basically 5 patches...

it rocks...
